Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Rankster (“we”, “us”) builds Rankster, an app that tracks App Store chart rankings. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it, in both the Rankster mobile app and on this website.

Information we collect

Information you provide. If you create a Rankster account, we store the identifiers needed to sign you in (such as an anonymous or provider-based account ID). If you contact support, we receive the information in your message.

Apps you track. The apps you add to your list are stored so we can show you their rankings and send the alerts you request. The App Store ranking data itself is public information.

Usage and device data. We collect app and website usage events (screens viewed, features used) together with standard device and technical information such as device model, operating system version, language, and app version. This helps us understand how Rankster is used and improve it.

Purchases. If you subscribe to Rankster Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple. We receive your purchase and subscription status — not your payment card details — to unlock and manage your subscription.

Push notifications. If you enable ranking alerts, we store a push token so we can deliver notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to operate Rankster. They process data on our behalf, each under its own privacy policy:

How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide and operate Rankster, deliver the ranking alerts you request, process subscriptions, understand and improve the product, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time from within the app (Settings), or by contacting us.

Children

Rankster is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
